Hello. My name is John.

Solving business problems through creativity is fun for me. Digging through the details, finding that place where the quirks of human behavior meet something real about your brand, that’s interesting. (At the risk of sounding controversial) I firmly believe you can’t blend in and stand out at the same time. 

I was brought to MullenLowe in 2013 to help shore up their biggest client, US Cellular. A year later the team and I pitched and won Royal Caribbean. My partner and I managed a lot of great people and about $25 million in revenue at that point. The next year we won a Google Cloud project and two years later Humana Healthcare.

Prior to that I was at Arnold Worldwide running the Truth anti-tobacco campaign, Tag Body Spray from P&G, Southern Comfort, and the CDC’s anti-smoking campaign. I also worked on Monster.com, Timberland and Celebrity Cruise Lines.

Incidentally, Truth was named “Campaign of the Decade” by the readers of Adweek (2010), and was No. 9 on Ad Age’s Top Campaign’s of the 21st Century (2015). Woohoo.
