My best Super Bowl ad?

I made five Super Bowl ads in my early career. At the time I just figured that’s what people did. This was my favorite.

The worst one I made starred (then) America’s Mayor. I found the link on YouTube, but it’s not worth revisiting. Forget I brought it up.

Tag Body Spray

Tag saw an opportunity to reach an audience that Axe Body Spray had ignored, so they struck a deal with hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri to start a music label, and star in the marketing. I would’ve preferred Dr. Dre, but he worked a little too blue.

We Love to Vote

The Federal Voters Assistance Program (FVAP) helps service members and other Americans overseas get their votes in on time.

Funny story: the steadicam operator had just bought the rig. He needed to pay it off, so he took every job he could. The weight of the rig gave him a bad back. So every single shot was crooked and had a noticeable hitch. Fixed it in post. Producer livid.
